The course provides a methodological framework for discipline, starting from the assumption that humanistic literature directed at future archivists and librarians can not ignore the history of the philology of the texts in print.

Teaching Methods
Lessons are of a frontal character. There are some visits to libraries and archives to view manuscripts, incunabula, cinquecentines and various documents.

Type of Assessment
The exam will be held for all students only in oral form, including Erasmus students.
The test will consist of: a) the texts read in lesson; B) books listed in the bibliography; (C) the materials made available.
