Learning Objectives
Module A presents a case study concerning the relationship between literary and visual sources. Module B provides the basic tools for a specific and in-depth study of illuminated manuscripts.
Prerequisites
The course is aimed at students in the first year of the Master of Science in Art History, the prerequisites are those related to access to the degree course.
Teaching Methods
Frontal lectures and seminar exercises of analysis and reading of Italian painting and illumination of the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries.

Type of Assessment
The learning will be verified in itinere during the seminars and at the end of the course in an oral interview. In the final interview, students are expected to be able to recognize images presented discussed during the lectures, made available by the teacher on Moodle.
