Learning Objectives
The course will give students the skills in
1) transcribing a medieval text according to philological principles;
2) describing a manuscript book according to the most up-to-date standards.

Prerequisites
Students need to have passed an exam of at least 6 CFU in any discipline of M-STO-09 (Paleography, Codicology, Diplomatics).
Teaching Methods
Theorethical and practical lessons in libraries and archives. Attendance is mandatory for all lessons.

Students are required to bring their own PC.
