General information

In order to be admitted to the final examination, students must have acquired the necessary number of CFU established by the system, be in compliance with taxes and have the authorization (nulla osta) of their thesis advisor.

Important information

Requests to modify the study plan can not be presented contextually or after applying for the thesis. Therefore, the students must verify that their study plan is updated and approved.
Students can apply for the final examination only when there are 12 CFU left to acquire the programme’s full credits.
If these requirements are not fulfilled the application will not be valid.

The thesis defence will take place before a committee constituted of a number of university professors varying between three for bachelor's degrees, and at least seven for master’s degrees. The members of the committee will jointly assess the thesis and propose a grade in the hundred-and-tens.

The weighted average of the exams’ marks can be calculated by adding the product of the grade for each and the related CFU credits, and dividing it by the total credits.

Lodi (honours) are not included in the calculation.
